This is where you can reserve your chickens for the 2021 growing season. Chickens raised on pasture, free to roam a large area in the sunshine and open sky. Shelters are provided on the pasture that they access at will for shade or in case of rain. They prefer to stay out in the open otherwise, even over night. This is why they are only available through the summer into early fall. They receive organic feed containing no soy, no corn and no wheat daily, as well as nip at grass, leaves, bugs and whatever it is they like to forage in the dirt for. Deposits are being accepted here for the 2021 season. Chickens reserved can be picked up fresh when they are ready, up to 4 days after slaughter, and should be picked up over the weekend you sign up for. They will be packaged to be freezer ready, so you can just freeze them when you take them home or you can cut them up and repackage them in parts if you like, or just cook them and enjoy them! Chicken feet and giblets can be included with your chicken for $2 extra per bird, you should tell me you want that in the message section of your order when you place your order. Otherwise your chicken will come with only the chicken! Sizes are approximate, and extras can be available at most any time through the summer, at most any size, but a reservation with a deposit guarantees you get yours. The timing schedule is ambitious and mother nature can throw a wrench into the works. Sizes can be very approximate and timing can get off schedule, but we can work through it and still all come out happy on each end! Chickens cost $6/lb whole.
